House for Sale - 44,000 euros - Normandy

Our house in France is now for sale. It is situated in the countryside right beside Swiss Normandy and is approx. 1 km from the village of Proussy where there is a church, a bar and a small shop, and approx 6km from the market town of Conde Sur Noireau.

Please note that we now have received a "Permis" for the loft conversion to be carried out.

There is mains electricity and water but no mains gas supply as this is the French countryside!

Quiet Country Lane but Close to Town
The house is in a little country lane which overlooks a small valley.

There are the most wonderful views over a small French valley and the adjoining property on the right is set back which makes this house almost detached.

Two Gardens
Behind, attached to the back of the house, is a small garden and opposite is a fairly large piece of land.

Habitable but Still a Project for You
A Permis de Constuire has now been received to convert the loft into accomodation with Velux windows which could provide 2 further rooms and install a bathroom above the kitchen.

Work has been started but there is plenty more to do to this house.

The house has a large lounge (approx 19.1 foot by 15.8 foot) with an open fireplace and a room behind that would become the kitchen. The kitchen is approx 10 foot by 9.5 foot in size.

Upstairs is the first floor, enough room for a main bedroom and a bathroom.

There are windows to the side and the front giving a wonderful open aspect and the view from the front is over land which comes with the property.

Beneath the kitchen area is a small cellar - incredibly useful if you plan to install central heating as the boiler could be housed in this area.
